HRAFF on Tour Dates Announced!

The Human Rights Arts & Film Festival is proud to announce the 2014 dates of the national tour – with a welcomed addition!

Along with Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Alice Springs and Perth, HRAFF will be heading Darwin as part of HRAFF on tour.

“We are thrilled to be working with HRAFF this year to present a selection of world-class social justice films that really do make an impact in the wider world. Darwin Festival has a history of presenting engaging film programs, but this year marks the first time we have worked in partnership with another festival to bring our audiences a range of award-winning and hard-hitting films. We look forward to lively discussions after each screening.” – Edwina Lunn (Director, Darwin Festival)

HRAFF will be joining the extensive Darwin Festival line up, an 18 day celebration of the arts, theatre, performance and film. From August 16th to 17th, HRAFF will showcase a selection of the finest human rights films at the stunning Deckchair Cinema. We look forward to an exciting 2014 in the Northern Territory with the continual support of the Northern arts and film community.

“The Darwin Film Society are proud to support and host the Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) at Deckchair Cinema in August, 2014. We look forward to showcasing a unique film program.” –  Steven Noble GM Deckchair Cinema

Sydney HRAFF is growing even bigger and better this year, with a five day screening of the program at the Dendy Cinema, Newtown. HRAFF Brisbane will be moving to the vibrant Brisbane Powerhouse for three days.

We’re delighted to be returning to Perth’s Luna on Essex, the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra and the Olive Pink Botanical Gardens in Alice Springs. With the venues locked in, we can look forward to hitting screens in your city!

Check out the dates below and mark those calendars!

The 2014 HRAFF program will be released early April featuring human rights films that we’re proud to tour around the nation.
